Traditional solutions are sometimes not capable of breaking the creative limits, creating monotony. To solve this challenge, architectural tensile fabric has become a superior solution. Basically, tensile fabric is a material widely used as a roofing material for architectural works, outdoor and indoor art, or resort tents. This material has the function of anti-UV, effectively limiting noise, and has a long life depending on the selected material (PTFE, PVDF, PVC, ETFE), bringing new, unique designs and a strong personal mark to each project.

    —

Technical Requirements Analysis & Solution Context

Modern architectural works require a harmonious combination of function (sunshade, rain protection, protection) and aesthetics (creating highlights, innovation). Technically, materials need to be light, durable, resistant to harsh weather conditions, and at the same time allow flexible, curvy shapes to realize complex design ideas. The context requires a solution that can be applied in a variety of ways, from exteriors to interiors, smart mobile systems, resort tents, dome houses, and large-space roofs. In addition, the construction process needs to ensure the solidity, safety, and maintain the aesthetics of the entire system, avoiding common technical errors such as wrinkled canvas, loose joints.

    —

Technical Solutions

Architectural canvas not only has the main function of shading, blocking rain, protecting the construction but is also an optimal solution in design, helping to break the limits of creativity and create highlights for the construction. The construction of architectural canvas must be based on the solidity of the pillars and the flexibility and curvature of the steel frame, creating unique designs.

Outstanding Features of Architectural Tension Canvas

Aesthetic and innovative: With a tensile membrane structure, architectural tensile canvas creates softness, lightness, and innovation but still harmonizes with the overall surrounding architecture. This is a popular type of roofing in green and modern urban areas.

Structural diversity: During the design and construction process, architectural tensile fabric usually has 6 main structural forms, each form comes with different parameter requirements for shaping: sail canopy (triangular canopy or hypar), funnel canopy (inverted), conical canopy (conical), vaulted canopy (vaulted), shaped canopy (fixed edge) or cable nets.

Light absorption and flexibility: Architectural canvas has good light absorption ability, bringing bright beauty during the day and sparkling, magical beauty at night. Being a lightweight material, canvas has high applicability, easy to move to another location, creating flexibility and not causing a feeling of fussiness and heaviness like traditional awnings.

Creative design of architectural and artistic canvas for E-Walk shopping center (Source: FlexiiForm.vn)

    —

What makes FlexiiForm Architectural Tension Fabric different?

Quality and professional construction process are the factors that make FlexiiForm architectural canvas different. FlexiiForm designs have a more sophisticated and minimalist frame compared to products on the market that are often rough and lacking in aesthetics.

Professional construction process: FlexiiForm team firmly fixes the tarpaulin edge to the steel frame, instead of loosely connecting with wire, avoiding confusion, rust and affecting the firmness.

Joints and connecting components: The joints are made firmly, ensuring high durability and safety for the project. FlexiiForm also uses many additional connecting components to increase the strength and safety of the architectural stretch fabric.

Perfect tension: FlexiiForm's architectural stretch fabric is optimally stretched, creating a smooth, wrinkle-free feel, unlike unprofessionally constructed products that often wrinkle and reveal their edges.

Creative art space with stretched canvas (Source: FlexiiForm.vn)

    —

Actual Construction Process: Marguerite Duras French International School Parking Lot Canopy and Dam Sen Waterpark Entrance Gate

FlexiiForm™ is a unit specializing in providing design ideas and construction of quality tensile canvas roofs, based on customers' needs, preferences and development goals, ready to lead the trend.

Marguerite Duras French International School parking lot canopy

Để nâng cao hình ảnh và tiện ích, trường Lycée Français International Marguerite Duras đã lên kế hoạch chỉnh trang bãi đỗ xe và lắp dựng hệ thống mái che bãi đỗ xe chất lượng.
