What is the stretch film structure?

Structure stretch membrane is a type of structure that is resistant to force and flexibility, created by stretching a soft material (usually canvas or fabric) over a metal or wooden frame. This structure can have many different shapes and sizes, depending on the design and intended use. The stretch membrane structure is also integrated with lighting systems to create beautiful and versatile living spaces.

Stretch membrane structure included

The typical structure of a stretch membrane roof is often divided into 3 main parts: stretch membrane, load-bearing system and connection details. In there:

1/ Stretch film: Stretch film material is usually made from specialized tarpaulins commonly used in load-bearing structures, is fireproof, waterproof, anti-fouling, heat-insulating and durable. Specialized tarpaulins are most commonly used in stretch film structures

2/ Bearing system: The load-bearing system of a stretch canvas roof includes free tension cables or a fixed iron frame system. Depending on the structure shape and design area, the structure will be calculated to suit the load of the stretch roof.
On the other hand, the structure can take advantage of the building's structural system such as beams and columns if needed. This both helps reduce the cost of the iron frame system and creates a connection between the works and the stretch canvas structure.

3/ Connection details:
These are the connection details between the stretch membrane and the load-bearing structure, specifically the connection between the canvas and the iron frame, the canvas with the cable, the cable with the ground or the load-bearing system of the building.
These details are very important because they affect the tension and shape of the canvas roof.

What is the application of stretch film?

1/ Garden canopy
The tensile membrane structure creates a durable roof system with a column-free space underneath. Often used to cover areas that need large coverage areas such as large gardens such as villas, villas, garden houses... Not only does it create cool shade, the roof also helps make the garden design different.

2/ Pool cover
Constructing a stretch canvas roof applied to the swimming pool can help make the appearance of this area different, bring diverse and creative designs, create open space and optimize natural light. Helps the swimming pool space become airy and spacious.

3/ Resort tent
The Glamping Tent stretch canvas structure will be an ideal choice to renew and upgrade high-end eco-resort models, helping visitors find new and unique feelings to upgrade their resort experience. for customers.

4/ School canopy
School stretch canvas roofs have outstanding advantages compared to other materials such as glass, corrugated iron, etc. because of their safety and ability to prevent objects from falling from above. Falling objects will bounce off the roof. cover to avoid the risk of falling.

5/ Garage cover
Garage covers made from stretch canvas cover the area effectively and protect from harsh sunlight that can damage the car. The designs are robustly constructed using panels and tarpaulins that are tensile and can withstand adverse weather conditions.

6/ Sports ground roof
The weight of the tarpaulin roof is only one-thirtieth of the weight of traditional construction projects. This also makes canvas stretch roofs basically overcome the difficulties encountered when traditional structures are implemented on large-area projects.
