Project Overview: Developing a Sustainable Tent Model for Panorama Glamping
This project presents the technical solution developed by Flexiiform for Panorama Glamping in Dinh Quan, Dong Nai. The goal is to create a model sustainable resort tent, capable of addressing the challenges of tropical monsoon climate, especially high temperature and heat radiation, to enhance the end-user experience.

Technical Requirements Analysis & Project Context
The climatic context in Dinh Quan, Dong Nai (tropical monsoon, high temperature, high radiation) sets specific technical requirements for the structure and materials of resort tents. Conventional tent models often encounter the following problems:
- Heat accumulation: The single shell is not sufficiently insulated, causing a greenhouse effect that makes the interior space hot.
- High humidity: Prolonged humid environments can easily cause mold, affecting the durability of materials and air quality.
- Lack of flexibility: Fixed design cannot adapt to changing weather conditions (harsh sun, heavy rain), reducing customer comfort.
- Privacy and convenience: It is necessary to ensure private, comfortable space while still maintaining a connection with nature.
Technical Solutions and Implementation Process
To solve the above problems, Flexiiform has researched and applied a sustainable tent solutions Specially designed, focusing on the following technical components:
Double-layer insulated shell structure
The design consists of a weatherproof outer shell and an inner lining, creating an air gap. This gap significantly reduces radiant heat transfer, helping to stabilize the interior temperature and reduce the load on mechanical cooling systems.
Natural convection ventilation design
We positioned the vents and adjustable doors in opposite positions. This design allows for natural convection, which continuously releases the hot air accumulated above and brings in cooler air from outside, passively cooling the space.
Flexible operating structure
The tent system is equipped with a sliding mechanism, allowing users to flexibly customize the space. It can be closed to ensure privacy, protect from the rain or fully open to blend with the landscape, depending on weather conditions and usage needs.
Results and Performance Evaluation
Flexiiform's solution was implemented at Panorama Glamping and delivered real results, meeting the initial technical objectives:
