Saddle Structure Design (Hyperbolic Paraboloid)
The core technical solution is a saddle-shaped tensile membrane structure, or hyperbolic paraboloid (hypar). This shape is created by a central steel arch and low anchor points at the corners, forming a two-dimensional curved surface. Structurally, the hypar structure is inherently very stiff and stable because the tension is evenly distributed over the entire surface, allowing for large spans without the need for many secondary structures.
Specialized Material System
The main frame system uses structural steel that is machined and surface treated against corrosion to ensure longevity. The covering material is architectural tensile membrane (PVC or PVDF), a composite material that is UV resistant, 100% waterproof and has high tensile strength, suitable for the strict requirements of the project.
