Glamping Resort SJCC
Suncheon Resort is managed by Glamping Resort SJCC, subsidiary of Korean company POSCO, which is one of the world's largest steel manufacturers. This minimalist luxury resort, located next to the famous Seungju golf course in Suncheon city, includes 16 pavilions in bright colors and different shapes. The sizes of the tents are not the same, but they all have about 50m² of living area with 2 beds, a kitchen and a toilet.
Glamping Resort SJCC is located about 300 km south of Seoul with an ideal location. Not only can you immerse yourself in the lush green cypress forest, visitors to the resort can also enjoy the poetic scenery when looking out over the Korean Strait from a high hill. Taking advantage of the natural strengths of the area, the resort helps visitors connect directly with the vibrant natural environment. Besides the landscape element, the architecture of the glamping resort also makes a special impression on visitors. The tents all have a light steel frame system, covered with Serge Ferrari stretch canvas from France, which is insulated, fireproof and durable under the harsh effects of weather and storms. Due to its flexible properties, stretch canvas can create a variety of roof shapes according to design ideas.
With the purpose of creating maximum comfort for visitors, the tents are designed with 2 layers of canvas with insulation in the middle, helping to ensure that the internal temperature always remains stable, regardless of the temperature of the area. The area fluctuates greatly from -20 degrees in winter to 40 degrees in summer. With regular maintenance, the tents are expected to have a lifespan of at least 10-15 years.
The resort has 3 main types of tents, with distinct shapes and colors, modeled after the names: Mountain, Firefly and Pretty. The central area of the glamping resort is the restaurant and common area with a viewing terrace, with a facade design consisting of steel bars coated with white paint, which not only reduces the amount of light entering the area. common house but also brings a pleasant and harmonious visual experience.
