Walkway Canopy Solution: Single Sloped Module Stacking
For the walkway area, the technical solution is a series of single-slope canopy modules. Each module is designed to be almost flat but has a slope to one side to ensure drainage. These modules are installed partially stacked on top of each other, creating a visual effect like “kites” in flight, bringing a light, dynamic and rhythmic architectural image.
Playground Canopy Solution: Kite Structure (Hypar)
The children's play area uses a four-point hyperbolic paraboloid (hypar) tensile membrane structure. This design has the technical advantage of only needing a minimalist structural system (usually 2 high columns and 2 low anchor points) to cover a large area. This helps to maximize the play space below, eliminating the need for supporting columns in the middle, ensuring a safe and unobstructed movement environment for children.
PVDF Engineering Materials
